About me

Janko JovanovicMy name is Janko Jovanovic and I am a senior software developer, designer and artist.

I started programming in 1989 working in Clipper ’87 and dBase III+ database. From 1991 to the end of 2002 I was envolved in various projects as a freelancer going through requirements analysis, documenting, development, training and other phases. From 2002 I began using Microsoft technologies intensively and worked on large number of projects in several companies. Currently I am working as a senior software developer and develop solutions using cutting edge technologies.

My carreer is not limited just to development. I am very active in MSForge - a local .NET User Group in Belgrade, Serbia. I also lecture on public events (such as MSDN Day) and .NET User Group meetings.

Along with my professional career, I finished Information Technology college in Belgrade and gained MCSD certificate.

I am an amateur painter, constantly working parallel to my professional engagement. It was probably just a tiny thing that influenced me not to pursue a painting career. My art is available at: gallery.dzovan.com.

I am happily married to Milica and a proud father of little Mateja.
